Yesterday I took Isaac to an empty neighborhood and he practiced driving. He was just as nervous as I was. I can't tell you how scared I was when he went 30 mph. He might as well have been doing 100 mph. He did very good. He was wanted to do well so I would take him out again. Next time he'll be driving my car, which is a stick, so he can get that experience. I think everyone should know how to drive a stick shift.
When did my little boy get old enough to start driving? It really does all happen so fast. I have to remind myself everyday that I only have him for 2 more years. I will barely even see him this summer. With wrestling and football practices everyday, trip to California, two wrestling camps, and football camp I'll be lucky to have dinner with him.
I am fortunate that he does still talk to me a lot. Yesterday he got a ride home from wrestling practice and he came looking for me to tell me all about how he did. Even though he is bigger than me he will always be my little boy. The best part about that is he understands and likes being my little Isaac.

I feel so lucky that your kids are like my own and vice versa....So when I read that story tears come to my eyes..I remember when he was first born...Even though it was bad timing I am so thankful that you, me, Josh, and Dad had that time with just our little Isaac...Dad would be so proud of him!!! I miss you guys so bad it hurts!
