My Little Girl is 12!

We'll today Elyssa turned 12! I can't believe it. She looks more like a teenager every day. For her birthday she wanted an Ipod Classic. I told her I didn't think she was getting it, because even the refurbished ones are like $175. I bid like crazy on ebay and finally I "won" one for $75. It was so awesome! The price included shipping, earbuds, and charger. Then when we opened it up the girl who sent it left all her songs on it in case Elyssa liked them. When we checked there were already 517 songs on the Ipod and Elyssa loved the songs. Talk about your good deals!

Elyssa is also settling back into school. We have parent/teacher conferences tonight. It was like another gift for her to get out of school early today. She just completed her first big project. She had to interview someone who she admires (real or fictional) and complete a 2 page essay including a magazine cover. Elyssa picked her daddy. It really almost made me cry. There relationship is so special and it should be because she is totally little Mark. That also makes me laugh because Mark is always telling her how loud she is. Ya think?!

Wow, time keeps flying!-

  1. You are right about Elyssa looking more and more like a teenager everyday. She must be in a growth spur right now. Her legs are getting longer and her face is thinning out. I just want to say STOP. She is so precious though. She is still my little sweetheart on the inside, no matter how old she looks on the outside.
