Elyssa has been sick the last couple days and Isaac has really stepped into help. He has always been this way. He even offers to clean up the messes that get left behind. I'm so proud of him and the way he takes care of his little sister. I know Elyssa loves when Isaac takes care of her. She can ask him for anything and he will run and get it for her.
Last night I had a softball game, but I didn't go because since Elyssa wasn't feeling well. She said I could go, but I knew she wanted me to stay with her. I told her she was way more important than my softball game. Isaac said I should go, and he would take care of Elyssa. He promised me he would take care of her and I wouldn't have to worry. What a guy. I still didn't go, but to hear him say the words was really nice.
This morning Elyssa's fever was gone and she said she felt good enough to go to school. Isaac was worried that she was going back to soon. He told me he was going to have people keep an eye on her at school today. I love that they are this close. It is easy to forget when they get to arguing!
I'm so proud of my son!
